Once he entered his credit card details on the website to make the payment, Rs 92 thousand 251 was deducted from his account within a few moments. After collecting the details of the bank transaction, the young man immediately contacted the bank and blocked the card, but then the amount was transferred. He then filed a complaint in the Cyber Police Station of North Western District. Police registered a case in this matter on October 7 and began the investigation. Preliminary investigation revealed that the thugs had trapped the victim by false websites and advertisements. Police began technical investigation with the collection of the link of the relevant website and details of bank transactions. Do online purchases only from reputable sites or authorized programs. Police have called on the people not to click on any online advertising or link without checking.
