Reliance's plan to invest with 120 acres of FMCG plant in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur is now appearing as a favorite investment center for the most important country of the country. In this order, the Reliance Group also took steps to set up a large factory in the district and sought 120 hectares of land from Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (Gida). The representatives of the company on Tuesday investigated the proposed land in Dhuriyapar and Bhiti Rawat with Gida officials and set their needs. After the final place has been corrected by the company, a formal application will be made for the allocation of land, along with a detailed project report. This is not the first time a large corporate group has been interested in Gorakhpur. Due to better connectivity, the region has attracted legendary businesses such as Pepsico, Coca-Cola and Adani Group. Recently, Coca-Cola awarded land in Sector 28 of Gida, and the Adani group also sought land for a cement factory in Dhuriyapar. According to sources, the Reliance Group plans here to set up a fast -moving consumer goods (FMCG) unit. If this factory is determined, it can be an important transformational step in the production and distribution of food and daily consumer products. The Gida Administration considers this investment proposal as a historical milestone for the development of the region. Gida CEO Anuj Malik said: “The Reliance group is interested in the construction of its factory in the Gida region. Two officers of the company came to Gorakhpur and showed the appropriate land. Gida has adequate industrial land. Industrial experts believe that the industrial scenario of the entire Eastern Uttar Pradesh can change with the advent of these large companies. Not only will it create large -scale employment, but it will also directly benefit the local traders and small businesses associated with the supply chain. Share this story -tags
