Karnataka: Prohibition of sales and animal allegations on Ram Navami in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, April 4 (IANS). The Karnataka government has announced a strict prohibition on not -factarian and animal massacre in the capital Bengaluru on the occasion of Ram Navami. The joint director of the Department of Livestock of Brihat Bengaluru Municipal Corporation provided information in this regard. The official said the Feast of Ram Navami will be celebrated this year on Sunday, April 6. On this occasion there will be a complete ban on animal massacre and meat sale in all the slaughterhouses of the city. He said: “At the sacred occasion of Shri Ram Navami, we will ensure that there is no animal slaughter in all the slaughterhouses of Bengaluru and that the meat is not sold by any meat seller of the city. This order will apply to all bbmp jurisdiction of the city.” This decision was made to respect religious and cultural sentiments. In addition, all meat sellers and grid were requested to follow this order and avoid its violation, as it will be opposed. It is noteworthy that in Uttar Pradesh also a special ban on the day of Ram Navami will apply. On this day, the sales of animal allegations and meat will be completely closed. In terms of the provisions of the UP Municipal Corporation Act 1959 and Food Safety Act 2006 and 2011, the Yogi government has instructed the officials to take strict criminal action against those who violate. Apart from this, during the Chaitra Navratri in Madhya Pradesh, the affairs of non -vactarism in religious places are completely banned Maihar and Dewas. At the same time, the sales of liquor are completely banned from April 1 at 19 sacred areas of the state. According to an order issued by Geeta Agarwal, Mayor of Dewas, the sale of mutton, chicken, fish and eggs from Chaitra Navratri from 30 March to 6 April will be completely limited from the day of Ram Navami on March 30 to April 6. In the religious city of Maihar, Vikas Singh, subdivision officer, also issued an order to ban meat, fish and egg purchases from midnight from March 30 to April 7. This order said that people reached the tourism city of Maihar with dedication, so that the sale of meat, fish and eggs would be banned.
