Case that has been submitted bribes with three policemen from Yamunanagar

The Anti -Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a case against three policemen, including an Assistant SubinSpector (ASI), under the narcotic medicine and psychotropic (NDPS), to claim bribes from a person. A case is registered with the Bureau of the Panchkula police station. The accused policemen placed in CIA-1 of Yamunanagar were suspended by the Yamunanagar superintendent of police Surinder Singh Bhoria after the case was registered. According to the available information, Surjit Kumar, a resident of Khadda Colony, Yamunanagar, was arrested by the Farkpur police station on April 9, 2025. Police got 9.09 grams of heroin (smack) out of his possession. Later, another person was also arrested in the case. Based on the complaint of ASI Bhupinder, a case was registered against Surjit Kumar and others in terms of sections 27 (a) and 21 (b) of the NDPS Act, 1985. Three policemen allegedly claimed bribes from Mohammad Junaid, a resident of Khada Colony, who was nominated in the medicine case. The authorities allegedly threatened to imply him if he did not pay money. However, Junaid contacted the anti -corruption bureau in pankula instead of accepting his claims. On his complaint, an ACB team laid a trap in Yamunanagar last night to catch the accused red -handed. However, the policemen allegedly got a look at the operation and they did not come on the spot.
