The wealth of the farmers of the country is the purpose of 'developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan': Ps Pandey

Samastipur, June 5 (IANS). ‘Developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’ is the dream project of Premier Narendra Modi. This is implemented by agricultural institutions and agriculture universities across the country. PS Pandey, vice -chancellor of dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University in Pusa in the Samastipur district Bihar said at a press conference on Thursday: “The developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan was started by Premier Narendra Modi on May 29. This campaign will run across the country until June 12.” He said: “The university has formed a team of 720 scientists. Scientists along with 1,756 officials for agricultural expansions visited 993 towns. The team of scientists reached 96,475 farmers and not only heard their problems, but also set their solutions.” The vice -chancellor said: “It is necessary for the prosperous country to be prosperous. That’s why the Prime Minister started the Sankalp Abhiyan. As part of the campaign, the team of agricultural scientists reaches different towns and communicates directly with the farmers.” He said: “174 teams were established, including Bihar-Jarkhand, which must communicate by reaching 9,75,000 farmers. There are 130 teams working in Bihar, which have to reach 6,45,000 farmers.” Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University Pusa formed 38 teams by 16 Krishi Vigyan Kendras in 13 districts, which aimed to communicate with 1.90,000 farmers. The vice -chancellor said: “Farmers are made aware of the modern methods associated with the most important crops grown during the Kharif season. Information is also given about the choice of different crops and the use of balanced manure. Farmers were informed about the soil health map.” He said: “Agricultural scientists also make them aware of the different schemes run by the government for the farmers. They are told of the benefits of the schemes.
