An STP of the capacity of 49.5 million liters (MLD) is also built in the Chawla area in the southwest of Delhi. In addition, DStp is installed in Jafarpur, Ghalibpur, Kheda Dabur, Hasanpur, Kazipur, Shikarpur, Sarangpur, Car, Kakrola, Kakeri and Dichaun Kalan. The purpose of these plants is to treat water in the same place where it is produced so that it cannot reach the dirty water discharge or Yamuna. STP and DSTP will bring bids and TSS to standards. STP and DSTP must bring chemical oxygen question (bid) and total suspended fixed (TSS) to the standard. Similarly, TSS must be 100 milligrim/ per liter, but in this drain it is more than that. Due to its standard, the water quality of Yamuna is expected to improve significantly. Treated water will be used in irrigation, horticulture and reservoirs revival.
