Pakistan: Explosion in the school bus in Balochistan, five dead, very injured
Islamabad, May 21 (IANS). At least five people were killed in an attack on a school bus in the Balochistan region in Pakistan, while more than 38 were injured. According to local police, there were about 40 schoolchildren in the bus. The explosion took place outside the city named Khujdar at 7.40 hours of local time. According to the information, three of the five people who died are children. The burning debris of a large bus is seen on social media, where the bags are distributed. No group has taken responsibility for this incident so far. The injured were sent to Central Military Hospital for treatment. Balochistan chief minister Sarfaraz Bugati condemned it, saying: “Our government will not only expose the region’s terrorists, but also completely eliminate it.” Pakistan’s Department of Public Relations for Internal Services also condemned the incident, which targeted innocent children. The department said those who plan and execute the incident would be severely found. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also condemned the incident, saying: “Our sympathy is with the families who lost their children in this incident. Those who performed the incident cannot be forgiven in any way.” Last week, the body of four laborers belonging to Punjab Province Pakistan was found in the Nushki district of Balochistan. The laborers, government officials of the province of Punjab have been targeted by the Baloch organizations over the past few months. No organization has accepted responsibility for this incident, but the way the incident was carried out is believed to be the Baloch Liberation Army behind it.
