Bangladesh draws a record death in the fastest distribution of Dengue fever

Bangladesh faces a deadly and unprecedented outbreak of Dengue, as hospitals find it difficult to provide places for patients with the spread of the disease at a rapid rate in the country with a major population density. According to official figures, at least 293 people have been dead since the beginning of this year and almost 61 thousand and 500 wounded, to record the highest death rate this year since the first time in 2000. Health sector officials said hospitals, especially in the capital, Dhaka, were suffering to provide places for large numbers of patients who have high temperature, joint pain and hernia. The Minister of Health Zahid Malik said that the government has launched initiatives to limit the spread of diseases transferred by mosquitoes, through awareness campaigns and attempts to kill mosquitoes after the rain. There is no vaccine or treatment for dengue that spreads in the South Asian region during the seasonal wind season, from July to September, as the mosquitoes that spread and increase the deadly disease in stationary water. Experts said they expect cases to rise during August and September. The deaths of the current year have already exceeded the records recorded last year and reached 281 deaths. Also read:
