Shaveri, October 4 (IANS). Former Chief Minister of Karnataka and MP of Heveri Basavaraj Bommai have launched a shocking attack on the state government over the incident of the stone in Belgaum. He said that anarchy and violence in the country have now become a kind of ritual and that some powers support it. Bommai claims that there was a similar situation in Uttar Pradesh, but there the government took strict steps and controlled the situation. He said that the situation should also be controlled in Karnataka after the Dangere incident, but that the police did not fulfill his responsibility. Referring to the incidents of Mandya and Maddur, Bommai said the situation is completely stable, but the fear of the law is less visible in the state and more fear of the police. The former chief minister claimed that the current government failed to take many incidents seriously. He called on the Minister of Home Affairs to take these matters seriously immediately, otherwise the way to divide society into the name of cabinets, religion and creed will open. Bommai said on economic matters that the state government had decided to go to court against the deduction of the GST against the center and for this wrong rhetoric is being made. He raised the question: “Who will give an account of Rs 3,000 crore a year and every year?” Bommai also surrounded the government about the problems of farmers. He said that the state government immediately relieved the farmers affected by rain after the amount was released by the center. He said: “When I was the main minister, I gave the farmers relief twice and did not wait for the center’s money. If the farmers were really worried, the state government should immediately release the relief amount.” He targeted the congress and chief minister of Siddaramaah and said that Siddaramaiah is still determined by the old statement. The congress must make clear who the chief minister will be and who is not. He claimed that the current government brought the state to bankrupt and development works. Bommai further said that a list of developmental works was sought at MLAs, but there is no concrete development work on the list. At the same time, the contractors again made allegations of commissioning. He called on corruption -free development, saying that the time is coming to take the state forward on the path of honesty. -Ians Ash/GKT shares this story Tags
