Bastar, September 22 (IANS). The town of Balanga in the Chhattisgarh Bastar district drowned in a feeling of grief and pride on Monday, when the body of red martyr Ranjit Singh Kashyap reached his town by holding on to the Tricolor. The entire town was witness to Ranjit’s last visit, which was tortured in the attack of militants in Manipur. The streets of the village echoed with the slogans of “Ranjit Amar Rahe”, every eye was moist, and each heart was proudly plunged into gums. On September 19, the convoy of 33 Assam rifles in the Vishnupur district Manipur was Manipur by militant ambush. In this attack, two soldiers on the spot were dead amid indiscriminate shooting, while five others were injured. In this attack, Ranjit Singh Kashyap sacrificed his life for the country. Ranjit was the only son of his parents to join Assam Rifles in 2016. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, of which the youngest daughter is only four months old. Ranjit was born in the village of Bastar in Balega. According to residents, they have been cozy and helpful in nature since childhood. The passion of rural service was always in his heart. Last month, Ranjit came home and his wife promised that he would come with long leave the next time and call his youngest daughter. But Destiny had more acceptance. He returned to his town by holding onto the Tricolor. CRPF officials and administrative officials, including Bos, Kedar Kashyap, local Mla Lakehwar Baghel, Bastar Collector Harish S and SP Shalabh Sinha reached the town to attend the last visit of the martyr. Everyone paid tribute to the martyr. Bastar police police staff gave Ranjit a final greeting by giving an honor guard. After this he was cremated in the village himself.
