Bees attacked dedicated in the temple of Madhya Pradesh, 8 people of the same family injured

Bhopal, September 28 (IANS). On Sunday, a sacred ritual at the prestigious Tara Mai Devi Temple in Prithvipur Tehsil of the Niwari district became chaos when a herd of bees attacked the dedicated, causing a punched and 8 people to be seriously injured. It is said that all the victims are residents of Indore. The incident happened on Sunday morning during a Havan in the temple on the hill in the Niwari district. Eyewitnesses said that as the rituals moved forward, the herd of bees burst near the Havan and then they broke on the people present. There was a stamp when the devoted tried to escape. The injured were immediately taken to the Community Health Center in Prithvipur. As the severity of their injuries was seen, all the injured were referred to Jhansi Medical College for advanced treatment. The injured include Babulal, 45, his mother Gomti Bai, 55, Jamuna Prasad (60), Anita (38), Umesh (40), Karthik (8), Ghori (8) and 13 -year -old Nitin. It is said that Gomti Bai’s condition is critical. According to a police officer, the family first went to Gwalior and then went to the Tara Mai temple to worship. After completing the rituals of Havan-Puja through the priest, he sat down to eat Prasad. Suddenly, bees attacked him from all sides. They could not put their courage and not understand what was going on. Police officers also said that the temple was surrounded by dense forest and Orchha region, is known for its large population. It is said that the smoke of this ritual plagued the bees that breed in the area, which led to an unexpected attack. Tara Mai Devi Temple is a popular pilgrimage center, especially among the dedication of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. This incident expressed concern about security measures during important religious ceremonies, especially in wild areas. Meanwhile, the temple management regretted the incident and assured the collaboration with the local administration to ensure the safety of the dedicated.
