Before Bihar election, Lalu-Rabri and Tejashwi received a shock from the court, charged in Irctc scam.

Before Bihar election, the head of the RJD Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav sustained a big blow. Rouse Avenue Court has drawn up charges against the three accused in the corruption case related to IRCTC and now the hearing will begin. The court drafted charges against the three accused in their presence and said the case would be prosecuted in terms of section 420 and criminal conspiracy. The court informed Lalu Yadav of the allegations, saying that he had abused his position to get land rights for his wife Rabri Devi and the son Tejashwi Yadav. Lalu Yadav was aware of these allegations and Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav were equally involved in this conspiracy. The court asked Lalu Yadav if he thought the allegations were true, to which he replied, “I am not guilty; I did nothing.” What is Irctc Hotel scam? It is noteworthy that when Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Minister of Railways, irregularities were committed to giving the contract for the maintenance of two IRCTC hotels to a firm. In this case, CBI filed charges of fraud, criminal conspiracy and corruption against Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav. All three argued that the CBI did not have evidence to prosecute them. However, while the charges were drawn up against him, the court said that Lalu Yadav abused his position to interfere in the government’s tender process and tampered with the tender.
