Beginning of Technology-based Agricultural Revolution in Tripura, ‘Developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’ launched to increase the revenue of the Boers

Bishramganj, (Tripura) May 29 (IANS). Dr. Tripura chief minister Manik Saha on Thursday launched a major launch of ‘Developed Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan’. After Bishramganj’s campaign vehicles, the Chief Minister calls it an important step towards technical revolution in the state agricultural sector. This state -wide initiative is part of the nationwide campaign of the central government, which aims to double the revenue of the farmers and to upgrade the farm by artificial intelligence (AI), 5G and modern scientific techniques. Together with the Chief Minister, the Minister of Agriculture Lal Nath and other senior officials were also present at the event. The campaign will be fed hard until June 12. During this time, agricultural scientists will go to the towns across the state and give direct training to modern technologies to farmers. Chief Minister, dr. Saha, said: “This campaign will be a milestone to take Tripura’s agriculture to new heights. Through technology such as AI and 5G we will make accurate farming, crop monitoring and weather forecasting. It will increase production and food security.” Technical measures include AI -based insect and disease identity system, increase in crop productivity, better connection in towns and direct training of scientific techniques in fields. Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that the income of many farmers has doubled in the state since 2015. He described it as the result of the schemes and technical initiatives of the central and state government. He informed that a total of 864 meetings in the next 12 days in which agricultural scientists would communicate directly with the farmers would be arranged. Nath also said that the interest of trained youth in the agricultural sector is now increasing.
