Bekasi City Police and Binmas Polda Metro Ronda Together with Rawa Semut Residents
Bekasi City – Patrol activities continue to be intensified to maintain safety and public order (kamtibmas). The Bekasi City Metro Police together with the Ditbinmas Polda Metro Jaya held a Satkamling Community and Community Service Coffee Drinking Activity with the residents of Kampung Rawa Semut 2. The activity was directly led by the Bekasi City Metro Police Chief, Commissioner Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro. Residents warmly welcomed the presence of police officers in this activity. The chairman of RW 12, Endang Luky, expressed his appreciation for the presence of the police who were once again present to greet residents directly. The Kamtibmas coffee with residents of Rawa Semut held on Wednesday (16/10) evening was also attended by key officials of Polda Metro Jaya, including Dirbinmas Kombes Harry Muharam Firmansyah, Kabid Dokkes Kombes Martinus Ginting, Wadir So AKBP Ariek Indra Sentani, and Kayanma AKBP Agus Rizal. In addition, there were Deputy Chief of Bekasi Metro Police, AKBP Bayu Pratama Gubunangi, Chief of Intelligence and Security, AKBP Slamet Wibisono Yanto, Rawalumbu Police Chief AKP Akhmadi, and East Bekasi Sub-District Chief, Fitri Widyawati, as well as community leaders, heads of RW, RT. Head of the East Bekasi sub-district, Fitri Widyawati, said this activity is a clear proof of the synergy between the government, police and community. He explained that practical exams are still considered important for road safety. Police chief Kusumo has meanwhile expressed his willingness to facilitate mobile SIM services for residents. “Just go through the RW Head who writes an official letter to the Police, then we will schedule a mobile SIM activity. The aim is that people do not have to go far to the Satpas,” he explained. The activity ended with a social gathering and coffee together, accompanied by group photos between residents and police officers. The atmosphere of camaraderie is clearly visible between residents and officers. Kusumo Police Chief emphasized that the Ngopi Kamtibmas activity was a true form of the humanistic presence of the National Police. Residents also appreciated the steps taken by the Police, which are seen as getting closer to the community. “We want the public to feel that the police are friends who are ready to protect them, not scaremongering parties.
