Belur Youth Society Initiative: Message of Protection and Awareness of Bezers
Howrah, September 29 (IANS). This year, Belur Youth Society (Balloon Netaji Park) in Howrah, West Bengals, decided to spread awareness about stray animals with a special theme “silence” during Durga Puja. These organisms include silent creatures such as dogs, cats, birds, cows and goats, which have not been associated with humans for centuries. The purpose of society is to help these helpless beings and make people sensitive to them. People believe that dogs are the most trusted friends of people. Many people can leave home for a long time by relying on them, and dogs also protect them. On the other hand, however, some people hate these animals and bother them by stoning them in the water or putting them in water. These organisms often lose their lives in accidents near the ghats or on the roads. Nevertheless, some animal lovers emerge to take care of them. They collect their food with their money and get them treated in case of illness. In the morning, people give grain and water to the pigeons, so that a crowd of these birds can be seen on the roofs. Unfortunately, these silent beings often have to suffer the negligence and cruelty of people, which injure and make them sick. Belur Green Youth Society launched a campaign for this ABLA creatures this year. Their goal is to arrange their food and provide basic treatment to sick organisms. The members of society say that this initiative will help make people aware and to stop atrocities at animals and birds. On this occasion of Durga Puja, society beautifully introduced this message in the Pooja Mandap, which shines in the eyes of the people. This campaign is not only to protect these organisms, but will also arouse the feeling of sensation and responsibility in people. -Ians shk/dsc share this story tags
