Jakarta – The Student Executive Council (Bem) of Udayana University (Unud) demands the cancellation of the Collaboration Agreement (PKS) between the Unud Rectorate and Kodam IX/Udayana because it has the potential to threaten academic freedom. They plan to hold an action at the Unud Rectorate on Tuesday. One of the students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fessry) of Unud, Dwi Andra, claims that they understand that other universities have also done similar cooperation. However, he considered the signing of the PKs between the Unud Rectorate and Kodam IX/Udayana in the spotlight because it coincided with the ratification of the TNI Act review. “Perhaps other universities have a similar agreement. The moment there is currently a movement of the TNI law that we must highlight. One of them is the privilege of the authorities in access to education in Udayana,” Dwi Andra on Tuesday on the Unud campus, Sudirman, Denpasar, quoted by Detikbali, Tuesday (1/4/2025).
