Bengaluru Stampede: Siddaramaiah blames the State Cricket Board, says 'went there only after being invited' | Today news
Karnataka chief minister Siddharamaiah said on Saturday that the state government did not organize the RCB event that killed 11 people in a mark because he still faces a barrage of criticism after the deadly event last week. “The secretary and treasurer of KSCA (Karnataka State Cricket Association) invited me to the event. We did not arrange the function, the KSCA did,” Siddaramaah said. He said that the State Cricket Association informed him that the governor would also be in the case, and denied any involvement in organizing the event. “They also told me that the governor was coming too, I just went there. I know nothing but I went there only after I was invited, they didn’t invite me to the stadium, ‘he said. (This is a developing story. Go back for updates)
