The congress party held a major demonstration against unemployment and corruption on Thursday. The activists took a march from the Jehanabad Railway Station to the office of the District Registration and Counseling Center and shouted slogans against the government. The protesters have claimed that Bihar has had an NDA for the past 20 years, but even trained youth wandering from course to course in search of employment and is forced to migrate. He said that about five Lakh youths got jobs during the tenure of the Grand Alliance government, but the current government deceives the youth by promising. The leaders of the congress demanded that the state government fill the vacancies as soon as possible in all departments so that the youth can find work. He also warned that if the government did not immediately act on their demands, there would be a big movement in the coming days. He demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
