Under the ongoing anti -Naxal operations in the SUKMA district of Chhattisgarh, security forces were encountered in the Pusagna area under the Kukanar police station on Wednesday. The bodies of two Naxalites, including a woman, were restored after the meeting. According to the information, the joint police team of the Kukanar police station and Sukma DRG was sent for a search operation on the information on the presence of Naxalite cadres of the CPI Maoist, forbidden and illegal organizations in the area based on reliable information. During the search operation of approximately 2pm, there was a meeting between security forces and Maoists during the search operation. One of the slain Naxalites was identified as Pedaras Los (local organization group) commander Baman, which was declared a reward of Rs 5 Lakh. At the same time, the body of the female naxalite has not yet been identified.
