Bhupesh Baghel probed the meeting between CM Nitish Kumar and Home Minister Shah.

Patna, October 17 (IANS). Regarding the meeting between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, senior Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel jokingly asked if Nitish Babu was angry or if Amit Shah had come to persuade. While posting on social media platform X, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wrote that he had a friendly meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Regarding this meeting, senior Congress leader while referring to a statement of Amit Shah said that the NDA is not contesting the elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and that a conspiracy is being hatched to eliminate JDU leaders. Baghel claimed that the NDA in Bihar wants to ‘play’ on the lines of Maharashtra, but the people of Bihar will not let it pass because ‘the truth of vote theft’ has come to light. Regarding seat sharing in the Grand Alliance, he said that everything has been decided. Seats have been allocated and the nomination process is underway. But JDU, which was the largest party in Bihar, got the same number of seats as BJP. When asked about the chief ministerial face of the grand alliance, he hit back and said that the NDA should first say who their ministerial chief face is. The parties involved in the grand alliance will decide together who will be our face. He said that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is contesting the elections under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav and the Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge. Let us tell you that during a programme, Amit Shah while referring to the Bihar assembly elections and the leadership of Nitish Kumar said that we are contesting the elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and Nitish Kumar is leading our elections. Nitish Kumar is a typical socialist leader. He said that the fight between Nitish Kumar and NDA is a fight against Lalu’s ‘Jungle Raj’ of that time and even today our fight is against the ideology of ‘Jungle Raj’. –IANS DKM/DSC Share this story Tags
