Bhupesh Baghel surrounded BJP over caste census, DAP crisis and Bengaluru crash, Sambit Patta named as 'spiritual foot'

Raipur, June 5 (IANS). Former Chhattisgarh chief minister and congressional leader Bhupesh Baghel have launched an oral attack on the BJP governments of the center and the state. During an interaction with the media in the capital Raipur, he expressed his opinion on various issues, including cabinets census, demarcation, DAP crisis, transfer policy, Bengaluru accident. On the issue of caste census, Bhupesh Baghel said it should only be believed if it started a right. Shortly after the census, the report will not come and the demarcation will be done in one stroke. First, the central government will have to form the demarcation commission, then there will be meetings with the states, then the process will continue. Since 2026, census and demarcation have been talked about, but if the census is delayed, the demarcation will also be in sadness. Bhupesh Baghel expressed concern about the proforma of the census. He said that the filling of the column of cabinets would only produce any meaningful results. For this, it is necessary that there must be a survey on educational, economic and political aspects, so that individuals, family and cabinets can get real benefits. He said that the census should also have an opinion with opposition leaders. He also made a digging at the Chhattisgarh government regarding the transfer policy. He said the government could not handle the transfer of the education department properly. The entire state staff is doing this work, but there are continuous protests in the offices. Once in the name of rationalization, it is transferred and then the department has canceled the transfer again. It also happened earlier that transfer orders were issued and then canceled. Baghel also surrounded the state and the central government over the lack of DAP in the state. He said that farmers do not get MSP today. The crop has done great damage to the crop, but the government has not yet paid compensation. He said that the government now calls Russia-Cewraine war, while this war was also during its tenure, but that farmers are getting enough DAP. Baghel refuted to the reaction of BJP spokesman Sambit Patra when he asked questions from the central government about the incident outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He said that Sambit Patra is ‘spiritual foot’. When there was a stamp at the Delhi train station, did he seek resignation from the Railways Minister? When 26 people died in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, did they ask for resignation from the Minister of Home Affairs? The incident that occurred in Bengaluru is very sad, we pay tribute to the dead and give their condolences to their families. A judicial inquiry into the incident was announced. Bhupesh Baghel also asked questions about the incident in Pahalgam on April 22. He asked how far the investigation into the incident reached? Why did security miss? Why not get medical support in time? He asked the question of why the Minister of Home Affairs was sent to Pahalgam instead of NSG, paramilitary and police force? He said that Sambit Patra must first answer these questions and also know when the investigation report will come from these incidents. -Ians psk/acade
