Mukesh Sahni has announced that he will not contest the elections and that he will support the Grand Alliance candidates. He refused to go to Rajya Sabha and expressed his desire to become the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar. Santosh Sahni has filed nomination from Gaudabauram assembly seat. In place of Vikassheel Insaan Party ie VIP supremo Mukesh Sahni, his younger brother Santosh Sahni filed nomination for VIP seat 79- Gaudabauram Assembly on Friday. He is also the national president of VIP. During the nomination in the Biraul sub-divisional office, Mukesh Sahni said that he will not contest the assembly election this time. I will campaign for the victory of the candidates of all the parties supported by INDIA. He said that he need not go to Rajya Sabha, he should stay in Bihar and become Deputy Chief Minister.
