Bihar CM Nitish Kumar says that Premier Modi Khelo India Youth Games will set up in Patna

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Monday that Premier Narendra Modi will visit Bihar next month to set “Khelo India Youth Games, 2025”. He made this statement during a program in which Mansukh Mandavia, Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, was also present. In this ceremony held at the Secretariat of the Chief Minister, the program and mascot “mascot” were unveiled by remote control. According to the main minister’s office, 8,500 athletes and 1,500 technical employees from across the country will take part in the “Khelo India Youth Games, 2025” held until May 15 in five JI Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Bhagalpur and Begusarai of Bihar. Khelo India was launched by the Government of India in 2017 with the aim of reviving the country’s sports culture by taking up children at grassroots level. In this initiative, emphasis was also placed on the development of better sports infrastructure and training academies across the country for different subjects. As part of this movement, Khelo India Youth Games (Kiyg), Khelo India University Games (Kiug) and Khelo India Winter Games (Kiwg) were introduced as annual sporting events at national level.
