Bihar: CPI (ML) asked questions about Sir's final list, searched answer from the Electoral Commission

Patna, October 4 (IANS). Before the upcoming meeting election in Bihar, CPI (ML) raised very serious questions about the final list of Sir. The party wrote a letter to the Electoral Commission in this regard and claimed transparency. The CPI (ML) said that there are contradictions in the final list of Sir, and the answers to many questions related to it have not yet been revealed. The party said in its letter that the names of 65 Lakh people were cut into Sir’s perception, after which 3 lakh 66 thousand more names were removed on the final list. The CPI (ML) questioned on what basis this name was removed from the voters list is no public details available. The party demanded that the list of all the deleted voters be released, including the reason, was released after the Supreme Court intervention in the 65 Lakh voters case. The party also said that about 21 lakh new voters were added to the final list, some of which are absolutely new, and some are those who claimed the names after being wrongly removed from the draft. The CPI (ML) also demanded from the commission that the entire list of older voters should be made public, whose names were restored to claim and objection. The CPI (ML) also described the decline in the number of female voters as a serious concern. The party said that according to Bihar’s census, the man-female relationship is 914, but this relationship is shown in the final list of Sir. The party questioned why there was a decrease in the number of women voters. The party sought an explanation from the commission. The party, referring to media reports, said the names of about 6 thousand people whose citizenship is presumably suspicious. The party demanded that the list and basis of all these people be made public, which questioned their citizenship. The CPI (ML) also encouraged the Electoral Commission to hold the Bihar meeting in two phases. The letter says that the election process is not only boring and expensive at different stages, but also creates inequality for parties with limited resources. The CPI (ML) also claimed that senior officials became a paradised officer who bypassed senior officers in many districts. The party, which quoted the Bhojpur report, further said that the officials of Dalit, Muslim and weaker divisions and gave preference to the officials of socially -dominated groups. The party demanded that a state -wide investigation should be conducted on this and that such cases should be stopped immediately. The party questions the transparency of the election process and further said that 17c forms are not given to polling stations, which is an important part of the voting process. The party demanded that the commission guarantee the strict compliance with this rule. In addition, the party suggested that huts of Dalits, Muslims and other underprivileged communities could easily vote in their environment, huts should be built in their neighborhoods. If there are no government buildings, the mobile hockey (mobile hockey) must be arranged. The party hoped that the commission would take all these issues seriously and take the necessary steps so that the public would make confidence in the election process. The CPI (ML) further said in the letter that our purpose is to maintain transparency of the election process and protect the rights of general voters. -Ians psk
