Bihar Cricket Association has become the youngest president of History Harsh Vardhan
Patna, September 28 (IANS). Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) announced the results of the election of its 2025 officials on Sunday. Harshvardhan was elected unopposed BCA president. He created history by becoming president at the age of 24 years. Priya Kumari was elected vice president. Ziaul Arefin will be the secretary. Abhishek Nandan will be treasurer and Rohit Kumar joint secretary. The names of all the office carriers, including the chairman, were announced on Sunday. All officials were elected unopposed. Rajesh Kumar has been appointed as a member of the managing committee (district representative) and Gyaneshwar Gautam as a member of the Governing Council. The election concluded under the leadership of retired IAS M. Modasir. He is an election officer. Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) said in a statement: “We are overwhelmed by the confidence and support shown by all the Bihar stakeholders. Our collective priority will need to strengthen cricket at ground level, create strong infrastructure and create more opportunities for young and ambitious crickets over the state.” The Bihar Cricket Association has announced that the selection trial and preparation camp for the male senior and under 23 teams will begin on Tuesday, September 30 at Moin-Haq Stadium in Patna. The players will have to report to the stadium on September 29 at 4pm. The BCA recently arranged a physiotherapy workout over players’ fitness and injury management. The main purpose of this program was to ensure that Bihar’s players are not only physically strong, but also to return to the field early in the case of an injury. – Ans Pack Share This Story Tags
