Bihar: Deepak Anand will be the first vice -chancellor of Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Kaushal University

Patna, October 4 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the first skills of Karpoori Thakur Kaushal University of the state to give a new direction to the skills development of the youth in Bihar. The prime minister described this initiative as an important step for the Bihar youth, which organized the youth dialogue and skills meeting of Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. He said that this university will increase their employment ability by providing skills to the youth of the state according to the demands of the world market. The Bihar government has issued the necessary notice under Article 11 of the ACT-2025 for the establishment of this university. Deepak Anand, secretary of the Department of Labor Resources, has been appointed as the first vice -chancellor of the university, while labor commissioner Rajesh Bharti received the responsibility of the registrar. Initially, the University of Dasharatha Manjhi Labor and Planning Studies Institute is operated. The Bihar legislature unanimously approved “Jannayak Karpoori Thakur Kaushal University Bill-2025”. The university will further expand the skills development programs under the seven decisions Part 1 and Part-2, which was launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Considering the changing global market and rapidly developing employment sector, this university will train the youth through advanced and relevant courses. This university not only focuses on skills training, but will also promote entrepreneurship, vocational education, research and innovation. It will also be related to skills development institutions across the state. The Bihar government believes that this initiative will help the state of the state to make them competitive worldwide. This university will take the human resources from Bihar to new heights and offer better jobs to local youth. According to the state government, this university will play an important role in increasing the work ability of the youth of Bihar. This will not only increase jobs at the local level, but effective human resources will also be prepared according to the needs of the global market.
