He met Tejashwi Yadav, who was also accompanied by Left party leaders. CPI has objected to fielding a Congress candidate from Bachhwada. The leaders claimed that they will make an announcement about the seat distribution soon. Congress leaders reached Patna from Delhi and distributed symbols to 21 candidates state bureau, Patna. After two days of deliberations in Delhi, the Congress Election Committee (CEC) reached Patna on Wednesday evening along with State Congress President Rajesh Ram, Legislature Party leader Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, and Krishna Allavaru, the principal. The leaders who reached Patna first gave election symbols to some selected candidates after which they went to Tejashwi Yadav’s residence late at night and met him. During this meeting, many leaders of the Left parties who were allies in the Grand Alliance were also present. So far, the candidates whose tickets have been confirmed by the party and given symbols include Anil Kumar from Bikram, Sanjeev Singh from Vaishali Assembly, Amit Kumar Tunna from Riga Assembly, Subodh Mandal from Phulparas. Apart from this, Pratima Kumari Das of Rajapakar, Amita Bhushan of Begusarai, Lalan Kumar of Sultanganj, Trishuldhari Singh of Barbigha, Anand Shankar of Aurangabad, Subodh Mandal of Phulparas, Shashi Shekhar Singh of Wazirganj, Amresh Kumar of Lavisarai, Shikhisharai. Prakash Garibdas of Bachwada, BK Ravi of Rosra, Jitendra Singh of Amarpur, Shashi Bhushan Rai of Govindganj, Symbols were also given to Bijendra Chaudhary of Muzaffarpur, Om Prakash Garg of Gopalganj, Kaushalendra Kumar alias Chhote Mukhiya of Naland. After giving symbols to the selected candidates, the state president, in charge and leaders of the legislature party reached the residence of the RJD leader and leader of the opposition in the assembly, Tejashwi Yadav. Let us tell you here that to untie the knot of the Grand Alliance, a meeting of the senior leaders of the constituent parties has been convened at the official residence of the Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Polo Road. Besides the Congress, other leaders of Left parties were present in the meeting which started late on Wednesday evening. CPI raised strong objection after Congress fielded its candidate from Bachhwada. The meeting continued until late at night. No leader has said anything openly about the distribution of seats. But all were seen claiming that all the issues have been resolved and the seat distribution will be formally announced soon.
