Bihar election 2025: Prashant Kishore’s entry of ‘Jan Suraj’ has increased political heat, allegations and counter-abuses

Election quarry is constantly climbing into Bihar. As the elections of the meeting approach, the phase of allegations and counter -improvements between political parties becomes more intense. In the midst of the politics of power and the opposition, a new political power has also begun to show its power – and this is the Jan Suraj Abhiyan of Prashant Kishore. Prashant Kishore, known as an election strategist across the country, has made his mark among the public for the past two years by taking out the ‘Jan Suraj Yatra’ in the streets and villages Bihar. During this campaign, he raised issues such as problems, unemployment, education, health and migration of the state. On October 2 last year, Prashant Kishore announced the formation of ‘Jan Suraj Party’ to give political form to his campaign. On the symbolic day like Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary, he announced that the purpose of his party is to bring the voice of the people into the mainstream of politics. Political analysts say that although the Jan Suraj party is still in the early stage, the strategy of Prashant Kishore and its foundation can make it an ‘ex-factor’. Especially in youth and classes that are angry with traditional parties, Jan Suraj party is seen as an alternative. At the same time, the Grand Alliance and the NDA camps also consider the increasing popularity of Jan Suraj. The opposition claims that Prashant Kishore is working to benefit the ruling party somewhere, while the ruling party says that Jan Suraj will only work for votes and that his direct loss to the Grand Alliance will be done. Prashant Kishore is constantly claiming that his party will not be part of any alliance and will compete on its own. He says that the people of Bihar have been looking at the same politics for 30 years and now want change. He describes himself as different from traditional politics and calls the participation and transparency of the people the greatest power of his party. The challenge, however, is whether the Jan Suraj party will really be able to build its concrete country in the complex politics of Bihar or only become a discussion. Political experts believe that it is not easy to place a new party in a state with large and ethnic comparisons such as Bihar. At the moment, it is certain that Prashant Kishore and his party Jan Suraj created a new stir in Bihar politics. By the time the election is close, it will be clear that the Jan Suraj party is really able to keep its hold to the public or to be lost somewhere in the crowd of political comparisons.
