Kaimur, October 18 (IANS). After the announcement of Bihar elections, political parties started election preparations on war footing. Political parties announce the list of their candidates and star campaigners. In such a situation, tickets of many leaders are canceled and many people file nominations after getting the tickets. Meanwhile, Geeta Pasi on Saturday filed nomination from Mohania assembly seat of Kaimur for the symbol of Jan Suraj Party. During this he also made very serious allegations against BJP. Geeta Pasi said I have also been a district councilor of Mohania twice. Now the people here want to elect me as MLA. That is the reason Jan Suraj Party President Prashant Kishore made me a candidate and sent me to serve the people of Mohania Assembly. He said there is BJP and some parties who are doing the work of drawing blood from the poor with syringes. He said that I have no money to contest elections by taking a ticket. The party considered me competent and gave me the symbol at the request of the people of Mohania. If I win the election from Mohania, I will get rid of the problem of traffic jam in Chandni Chowk. Besides, arrangements will be made for women’s college for girls for health care and education. BJP has given ticket to Sangeeta Kumari from this seat while famous Birha singer Omprakash Deewana is in fray on BSP ticket from this seat. On Friday, Birha singer Omprakash Deewana of Mohania filed nomination papers on BSP ticket. During this, Omprakash Deewana said that this time the issue is education, health, employment and migration of the youth. I go among society on these issues. He said that all the candidates in the battle field are rivals but I never consider opponents as an indicator of my struggle because I always have to take votes from my constituents, I am more confident about my victory than about my singing. –IANS MS/VC Share this story Tags
