Bihar Elections: Maithili Thakur expressed gratitude to the BJP leadership for getting the ticket.

Darbhanga, October 15 (IANS). In the Bihar Assembly elections, BJP has made famous folk singer Maithili Thakur its candidate from Alinagar seat in Darbhanga district. On Wednesday, Maithili expressed her gratitude to the BJP leadership for this. Mithila’s folk singer Maithili Thakur, on reaching Darbhanga for the first time after getting ticket from Alinagar from NDA, expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the CM of Bihar along with the central leadership. Maithili said that BJP has given me the opportunity to go into government service, it is a matter of great luck for me. I gave 25 years to sing. Now I will give to public service. Maithili Thakur had earlier written on social media platform X that I express my heartfelt thanks to the entire central and state leadership of BJP and NDA for reposing confidence in me. I will continue to work with full dedication and commitment to serve the people of Alinagar and to take the public welfare policy of BJP-NDA to every village and every person. The singer from Benipatti in Madhubani district joined the party in the presence of BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal on Tuesday. Right now, the BJP has taken a big gamble by fielding Maithili Thakur in the Bihar elections. Through this, the party will try to strengthen its position on Alinagar seat by taking advantage of the popularity of Maithili in Mithilanchal region, especially among the youth and culture enthusiasts. After joining BJP, Maithili Thakur said, “I am very impressed by the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Bihar.
