Bihar Elections: Nomination filed by Leshi Singh, Arun Singh and Raju Singh won with huge votes.

Patna, October 17 (IANS). Outgoing Bihar government minister Leshi Singh on Friday filed her nomination for the sixth time as a JDU candidate from the Dhamdaha assembly from Purnia. Before nomination, he visited the famous Kamakhya Temple of Purnia and Mata Sthan Chunapur and offered prayers. After this, bow to the family deity. Leshi Singh reached Dhamdaha to file nomination without any fanfare. Leshi Singh slammed former MP Santosh Kumar Kushwaha, who quit JDU and joined RJD after nomination. Leshi Singh said that Santosh Kushwaha does not belong to anyone. Nor did he belong to the people of the town or to the people of Bayasi. He said that we tied Rakhi to Santosh Kushwaha in the meeting. Women know how to respect people but they did not keep the honor of Rakhi nor did they know how to respect it. He said that in the last elections Santosh Kushwaha had vehemently attacked a particular caste, how will he go about seeking votes from the same caste today? Leshi Singh also mentioned about women’s respect and the public welfare schemes run by the government for women. He said half the population is with him and he and his government always believe in work. Arun Singh, MLA from Baruraj assembly in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, has filed nomination as his BJP party candidate. Arun Singh said that he is very grateful to the top leaders of BJP and NDA for having faith and trust in him. He said that after the NDA he also salutes the people of Baruraj. He claimed that this time too he would win with huge votes. He said that after victory he will help the people of the area to benefit from the schemes of the Center and the State. At the same time, Tourism Minister Raju Singh filed nomination as BJP candidate from Sahebganj Assembly in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.
