The disease is a symptom like Dengue, but Dengue was not confirmed in the investigation report. A large number of patients reach the main hospitals of the capital, which have all the symptoms of dengue, such as high fever, body pain, fall in platelets, etc., but the Dengue test report is negative. These cases come in hospitals on subdivision, including Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH), New Gardiner Road Hospital, Aiims Patna, Igims. Doctors give this situation the name ‘Dengue Like Disease’. Experts believe it may be a new viral infection, of which the identity is not yet clear. A case of many patients such as Savitri Devi, resident of Kankarbagh and Rinki Kumari of Danapur, came to light, brought to the hospital with symptoms such as Dengue. Although his investigation report remained negative, the doctor treated the same as Dengue based on the symptoms. The state of both patients has been improved. Many such cases have also occurred in PMCH. Dr. Sanjay Kumar of the Department of Medicine said that symptomatic treatment is given in it, as well as patients need special care. Not just fever, other symptoms, dr. Manoj Kumar Sinha, superintendent at New Gardiner Road Hospital, said that symptoms such as cold, coughing, chest, flatulence, joint pain and vomiting are also seen in patients. At the same time, the senior physician, Dr. Amit Mishra said it is possible that there should be a new viral tribe that is not trapped in Dengue tests, but the symptoms are almost the same. Experts have called on the people not to take medicine from themselves in case of fever or other symptoms. Treatment without testing can make the condition serious. It is better to contact a doctor immediately and to take the medicine only to proper examination.
