Labor and industrialists complement each other, labor law must be pro-industry and pro-communication: cm yogi

Yogi Adityanath, chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, said at a review meeting of the Department of Labor and Employment on Friday that workers and industrialists are complementary to each other and are not competitive. The state’s industrial progress is only possible if labor laws are balanced with both pro industry and pro-communication. He instructed officials to simplify the labor laws in such a way that the industries are facilitated. However, it must also be ensured that there is no possibility of exploiting workers or inhuman behavior. CM Yogi said we should empower industries to “give every craft”. No one can find work by closing the industry, but the expansion of industries is the medium of more employment generation. He said that workers and their families should get security in the case of accidents, it is mandatory to give their reverent honorarium and insurance protection shield. He said that the state government’s effort that Uttar Pradesh has the largest labor state in the country, he said while the rights of workers were protecting the rights of workers. The Chief Minister said that the child laborers from the Child Service Scheme of the Chief Minister should be worked and not only should be sponsored with livelihood, but that it should work quickly in the direction of their rehabilitation. It is not only a social obligation, but also the responsibility to give a safe future to the future generations. He instructed to develop labor bases as models, where doresetries, toilets, drinking water, cantines and training facilities are available. He said workers in the canteen should get tea, breakfast and food for Rs 5-10. He instructed to implement the guarantee of minimum honorarium by making skill mapping of disorganized sector workers. The chief minister said it would be an important initiative to convert the disorganized workforce into organized workforce. The chief minister said that not only technical training should be submitted to construction workers abroad, but also the training of the language of the destination must be made mandatory. It is necessary for both their functions and safety. He ordered private hospitals to be linked to CSIC and Eesis over the lines of the Ayushman Bharat scheme. It will provide health benefits to workers in both organized and disorganized sectors. The chief minister said that Atal Residential School appeared as models across the country today. He instructed officials to ensure quality through their continuous monitoring. The chief minister said that from 5,97,625 applications received on the Investment Mitra Portal, 5,90,881 Noc. The decision of the remaining complaints must be on time and transparent. During the meeting, officials informed the chief minister that 13.809 factories had been registered in the state since 2016, while 13,644 new factories were registered over the past 9 years. This is an increase of 99 percent. Officials further stated that the Department of Labor has the status of the polls in the implementation of the Recommendation of the Government of India.
