It is compulsory to have a fire safety officer in non-storey non-residential buildings up to 50 meters high, cinema halls with a seat capacity of more than 100 people or commercial complexes built on an area of more than 10 thousand square meters. Buildings that show more than one cinema, whether or not a commercial complex, hotels or lodges with 50 and more rooms, underground marketing complexes, district centers, commercial districts with a basement of ten thousand square meters or more area, will also have their own fire safety officer. Large oil and natural gas installations such as oil refineries, LPG filling plants and other similar facilities, open stadiums with a seat capacity of more than 20 thousand people and indoor stadiums with a seat capacity of more than five thousand people, hospitals and nursing homes with more than 100 beds, public or semi-governmental buildings, such as large and semi-governmental buildings. There will also be private fire protection officers in other places.
