Jagran correspondent, New -Delhi. Akasa airplane coming from Pune to Delhi clashed with the bird. The plane ended up safely at Igi Airport. According to the information, the plane took off from Pune at 07:50. This incident happened at 10am at the airport. Akasa said in a statement that the plane ended up safely and that all passengers and crew were dissolved. Our engineering team is investigating the aircraft in accordance with Akasa Air’s standard industry procedures and after a thorough inspection it is released for service. Sources say this plane would fly to Goa after landing in Delhi, but after the bird hit incident, another plane was arranged for the flight to Goa. In the past three years, there have been more than 400 incidents of airbird clashes in Delhi each year. According to the data, 442 incidents occurred here in the year 2022, 616 in the year 2023 and 419 in the year 2024. By June 2025, 95 such incidents were reported here.
