BJP leader’s cousin Thakur Vinayak Singh, a class 12 student, was beaten to death by stabbing him in the stomach for protesting against the abusive language in Katghar area. When the next of kin reached the spot, the uncle of the accused brandished his licensed pistol and threatened him and ran away. The police are sending dead body for postmortem. Remove Advertisement Only Read News Vinayak Singh, son of Pawan Kumar Singh, resident of Katghar Beach Chhota Chhatta Mohalla, was a student of class 12 in deputy Jagannath Singh Saraswati Shishu Mandir. The student’s uncle Anurag Singh was the local media in charge of BJP. Vinayak was standing near his house around seven o’clock on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, Phule Kaushik, son of Manoj Sharma, who lives nearby, came there and started abusing in a drunken state. When Vinayak protested against the abuse, there was a confrontation. Accused Phule’s father Manoj Kaushik, brother Anand Kaushik and uncle Anil Kaushik came to the ruckus. The student was assaulted. Meanwhile, he took out a knife and stabbed it in Vinayak’s stomach. By this he was badly injured. When the next of kin reached the spot after getting information, the accused ran away. Accused Anil Kaushik took out a licensed pistol and threatened everyone. The family members took the injured to the district hospital. Where the doctor referred him to see his condition as serious. After this, the family took him to Kasmas Hospital on Kanthweg. Where the doctor pronounced him dead. On information, the police reached the hospital. After getting complete information, the body was sent for postmortem. On the other hand, there is tension in the neighborhood after the murder. The accused fled the house. Police force has been deployed in the area. SP City Kumar Ranvijay Singh said based on the complaint letter, an FIR is being registered against the four accused. Two police teams were constituted for the arrest.
