BJP met in Mizoram's 'Namo Yuva Race'
Aizawl, September 20 (IANS). BJP’s youth branch BJP Yuva Morcha (Bjym) arranged a big ‘Namo Yuva Race’ in Mizoram’s capital Aizawl under Seva Pakhwada. A large number of youths attended the event, which took a promise of drug -free India. This national campaign based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday is inspired by the purpose of ‘Drug -Free India’, which aims to connect more than 1 million youths across the country with fitness and awareness of fellow directors. More than 251 youths registered in this race. The race was inaugurated in the morning in the morning Palak selection division Mla KK Wangko marked from the Bawangkawan traffic point. The participants ran on the streets of Aizawl. The race concluded on the Aizawl Lamuel Ground, where the local leader of the BJP addressed the youth during the closing ceremony, said this race is not only sports, but a medium of national service. BJP National President Tejashwi Surya announced at the national level that the youth of 10,000-15,000 will be assured in 100 places across the country on September 21. The event in Mizoram was a successful attempt to connect the state’s youth energy. The winners of the race were honored. In the men’s category, the gold medal was won by Lalhamunamavia (Mulpui Venag), who received a cash prize of Rs 10,000. Silver Medal TC Lalsanga (Rulchoum) awarded Rs 7,000, while the bronze medal with Rs 5,000 was awarded to Lalkasanga (Longtalai). The top ten runners received a consolation prize of Rs 1,000 each. Special awards were also distributed in young men’s and women’s categories, including certificates and medals.
