Report: "SpaceX" takes on an industrial satellite network for US intelligence

Spaxx, attached to Elon Musk, builds a network of hundreds of satellites for spying purposes under a secret contract with the US Intelligence Agency, reports Reuters, with five people familiar with the program. Reuters said the Starshield unit of “Starshield” builds the network as part of a $ 1.8 billion contract signed with the national reception office in 2021. The new spying system contains hundreds of satellites that have earth photographic capabilities and can work as a swarm in low orbits, according to the news agency.
