Khawalkar, husband of Rohini Khadse, daughter of Eknath Khadse, was arrested with others after he attacked an apartment in the Kharadi area on July 27. He is currently in jail. Police claimed the drug party was running in that apartment without making a video of the woman without permission. A woman complained that Khawalkar took pictures of her without her consent and made videos. They were discussed under section 66E of the Information Technology Act and section 77 of the Code of India Justice (BNS). A case filed against Khawalkar is registered with Cyber Police Station. Rupali Chakankar, chairman of the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission, said on the issue that more such cases could be registered against Khawalkar. He claimed that it could be the largest gender bacet in the state.
