Bogor Town Government has 1.487 High School Diploma, Budget RP. 4 billion
Bogor City – The Bogor City Government has awarded a budget of more than RP 4 billion to relieve the diploma from a detained community. A total of 1.487 high school diplomas/equivalent can be redeemed. “RP. 4 billion is therefore a special allocation for the redemption of diplomas. Hopefully the benefits can be felt by the community,” Bogor’s Deputy Mayor Jenal Mutaqin said on Saturday (4/10/2025). Jenal explained that the thousands of reduced diplomas came from 86 schools. At the same time, the program is preparing the young generation of Bogor City to be better. According to him, many residents could not take diplomas because they are still in arrears at school. The city government, together with the Bogor City DPRD, offers a subsidy of RP 3.5 million per person to make up a diploma. “As for alumni that is behind the RP 3.5 million, the government has asked for relief from the school so that it can be paid in installments,” he said. Separately, the head of Bogor City Regional Secretariat, Abdul Wahid, explained that the salvation of this diploma was an attempt to facilitate the community to continue the level of their lives, one of which was easier to find work. “Perhaps it can be used to continue with the school or to apply work.
