Boy, 17, lucky Shot in Morgan Park – ryan

A Teenage Boy Was Shot and Killed Saturday Night in Morgan Park.

Ian Williams, 17, was standing on a sidewalk About 7:15 pm in the 11300 Block of South Carpenter Street when Someone in a Blue Sedan Fired Shots, Strking the Boy in the Chest, Chicago Police Said.

Williams, of the 900 Block West 115th Street, Was Taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced Dead, Police Said.

The Driver of the Blue Sedan Fled North on Carpenter Street, Police Said.

Detectives are investigating.
