Does Bridgerton Season 4 have a release date?
Yes! Season 4’s release rollout was unveiled in October. Part 1 will consist of four episodes and premiere Jan. 29, 2026. Part 2 will also contain four episodes arriving Feb. 26.
In January 2025, it became more solidified that the next society season of debutantes and diamonds won’t be presented until 2026. Netflix confirmed that year for release at its May upfront presentation.

Netflix, on Valentine’s Day 2025, released new footage of production from Season 4, teasing Sophie’s “Lady in Silver” look at the masquerade ball that is so key to her meeting cute with Benedict.

Season 4 of the Netflix tentpole series will consist of eight episodes.
Who will play Sophie in Bridgerton Season 4?
Yerin Ha has been cast in the role of Benedict’s love interest, Sophie Beckett. The news came in August 2024. Netflix later confirmed the casting as well as the character’s name change to Sophie Baek, reflecting the actress’ Korean heritage.

Will there be any more new characters in Bridgerton Season 4?
Yes! Three key characters associated with Sophie’s backstory have been added to the series with cast members solidified in the roles. Katie Leung will play Sophie’s stepmother Lady Araminta Gun, and Michelle Mao and Isabella Wei will portray Rosamund Li and Posy Li — Sophie’s stepsisters.
Alice Mondrich (Emma Naomi) and Brimsley (Hugh Sachs) have also been upgraded to series regulars from their previously recurring roles.

Is there a trailer for Bridgerton Season 4?
A teaser snippet showing Benedict and Sophie brushing hands followed by a shot of her glove that leads Benedict back to her in Cinderella-esque fashion was released along with the premiere date for Season 4.
Yerin Ha’s confirmation casting clip from Netflix also teased her getting into costume as the Lady in Silver.
Another teaser was unveiled in May at Netflix’s Upfronts presentation, showing the specific scene at the Masquerade Ball where a black-clad Benedict sees his “Lady in Silver” Sophie gazing up in awe at a beautiful crystal chandelier.
Will Colin and Penelope be back for Season 4?
The pair were confirmed as series regulars in Season 4’s Valentine’s Day news drop by Netflix.

Bailey later said himself that he made room in his schedule to return for Season 4 production on Good Morning America. He said he reiterated the sentiment on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Netflix confirmed Ashley’s Kate Sharma as additional key cast versus regular season, meaning she will appear less frequently, but likely at least in an episode or two like they did in Season 3. Bailey is confirmed as a Season 4 regular.
Phoebe Dynevor came back for Season 2 as Daphne Bridgerton, or the Duchess of Hastings, but Rege-Jean Page did not reprise his role that season, and she confirmed her exit ahead of Season 3’s release.
