British army says speed
A ship was set on fire on Monday in the Gulf of Aden, probably due to a rocket strike by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, the British army said, AP reports. There were no initial reports of any casualties. According to the local media in Yemeni, the rocket, which is apparently ballistic, was fired from areas controlled by the Houthi’s, a group supported by Iran. Shortly thereafter, a ship reported about 235 kilometers (150 miles) on the coast of Aden in the Gulf of Aden that the British Army Center for Maritime Trading Operations (UKMTO), the British Army’s Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), was called. “A vessel was hit by an unknown projectile. The vessel is on fire, ‘AP quoted that the UKMTO said. The UKMTO called the incident as an attack and warned vessels in the area to remain vigilant, a caution that was also reflected by private security company Ambrey. Ambrey later confirmed the strike and noticed his agreement with a previous attack on September 23, which missed a vessel. (This is a developing story. More coming)
