BSF and Punjab police's great success on Gurdaspur border, 4 smugglers have been arrested with 10 kg of heroin

Gurdaspur, September 21 (IANS). The Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab police on Sunday failed to smuggle large heroin smuggling from all over the international border into an industry and accurate actions on Sunday. In this operation, four drug smugglers were arrested and about 10 kg of heroin was recovered. This joint action was performed in the town of Thetra in the Gurdaspur district. The BSF and Punjab police have received reliable input that some smugglers will bring major consignments near the border. Based on this information, the joint team started action in the morning, in which four smugglers were caught. During the search, 5 packets of heroin (total weight of about 10 kg), 3 cell phones and 2 motorcycles were recovered from smugglers. It is alleged that the heroin in the international market is worthwhile. The arrested smugglers were identified as Manepur and Ballagan in the Gurdaspur district and Pakha Tara Singh of Amritsar and residents of the Palla Colony. These four were also accused of involvement in drug trafficking activities. This action is considered the result of the excellent coordination and strategy of the border safety force and Punjab police. Both security agencies worked under a strong plan to break the network of drug smugglers in the border areas, which is why it was a great success.
