BTS 'Jin breaks record for the highest tour by an Asian solo act

Jin, a member of Global K-Pop Phenomenon BTS, has set up a new criterion for Asian solo artists with his first solo world tour, #runseokjin EP_Tour. According to the music analysis platform Pop Core, referring to data from Billboard’s monthly top tour map, the singer produced an impressive gross income of $ 32.5 million and more than 217,000 fans over 18 sold-out shows moved records for an Asian soloist. The tour, which only runs 47 days, started in Jin’s native South Korea before traveling to Japan, the United States, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Jin, in particular, became the first Korean solo artist to score the O2 arena in London, a landmark moment in the global distribution of K-pop and Korean cultural influence. Each performance on the #Runseokjin EP_Tour sold out, which underlines Jin’s individual popularity over his BTS fame. The success of the tour contributes to a growing list of praise for the singer, which gradually built a solo identity through musical releases and public performances. Although he released only a single ‘astronaut’-a collaboration with Coldplay and Two Solo Peps, ‘Happy’ and ‘Echo’, Jin has already collected more than 3 billion streams on Spotify, making him one of the most streamed Asian solo performances on the platform. The concert, attended by thousands of Armys and supported by BTS members V (Kim Taehyung), RM (Kim Namjoon) and J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), caused an outpouring of affection and admiration on social media. In the midst of tangible excitement, “Run Seokjin” was not just a musical performance – it was a celebration of Jin’s resilience, charm and emotional bond with his fanbase.
