Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Vishwakarma Yojana not only acknowledged the skills in the Burhanpur district, but also strengthened the economic condition of many homes here. Under this scheme, dozens of women and men from the district received training and found a new path of self -sufficiency in their lives. Burhanpur women started taking sewing for 6 -day and now taking orders to sew clothes. Earlier, women who were limited to homes are not only financially capable of their skills, but are also confident. Some women also started their own small salon by training the beauty salon that receives regular income. Men also participated extensively under this scheme. If someone has learned the work of Carpenter, then someone makes a fishing net. This training was very beneficial in the fishing community, especially in the fishing community, where local fishermen use a strong fishing net created by trained youth. All the people who benefit from the scheme have the same voice, “the Pradhan -Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana gave us skills, gave us work and made them self -sufficient.
