Guttedar said that he would burn them during cleaning, while the SIT raided his premises. Rahul Gandhi also alleged ‘vote theft’ following which SIT was formed. Heaps of burnt voter records were found near the residence of former BJP MP Subhash Guttedar in Karnataka on Saturday. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has intensified the investigation into alleged ‘vote theft’ in the Aland assembly constituency during the 2023 elections. If we had malicious intentions, we would have burned it away from our home. There was no hidden intention behind this. SIT set up: Sources said SIT on Friday raided several places linked to Guttedar, his sons and a chartered accountant. The SIT was formed after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged large-scale ‘vote theft’. Rahul cited Aland constituency during the 2023 Karnataka assembly elections in support of his claim.
