LG Manoj Sinha meets officials participating in the NDC course
Srinagar, September 24 (IANS). Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant -Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday met a delegation of senior officials of Indian Armed Forces, Public Services and Friends and participated in the National Defense College (NDC). During this, he discussed India’s security policy, strategy against terrorism and border development. The Lieutenant -Governor said that India, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has taken a lot of adventure and decisive steps against terrorism over the past year. He specifically referred to “Operation Sindoor”, saying that it was one of India’s most difficult military reactions, drawing a new red line against terrorism. Manoj Sinha said: “If there is a terror attack on India in the future, it will be considered a war action and an appropriate answer. India has also made it clear that nuclear expenses will no longer be tolerated and that the targets of terror will be accurate and decisive attacks.” As for the development of the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, the lieutenant -governor said that Premier modes gave the vision that the border towns should be considered ‘last town’, but ‘first town’. He said that this thinking gives preference to the self -esteem, safety and inclusive development of the people established on the border. He said: “We have adopted safety, economic progress and cultural integration for development in border areas with a balanced approach. Since 1947, electricity and internet have been deprived. Many areas are closely linked to just power and broadband connection.” He said that road and communication networks were strengthened in the border areas, which gave new pace to trade and tourism. It has also improved a great improvement in the quality of life of people.
