An Intense Penultation Episodes Sets Up An Exciting & Dangerous Season Final – ryan

Warning! This Review Contains Spoilers for Countdown Season 1, Episode 12.Countdown‘s new episode does a good job setting up the season 1 final to be an unmissable event. Last Week’s Episode of Countdown was more focused on how todd, the show’s new villain after meachum killed volchek, Became the killer we know. It was an efficient portrayal of His Dark intens.

Episode 11 is not nearly as heavy on todd’s side of the Things, but it does Feature the villain, who CLAUIMS A COUPLE OF MAJOR VICTORIES THAT HIM CLOSER TO HIS OBJECTIVE. I’m loving the villains are Truly Criminal Masterminds; they have thought About Things from Every Possible angle.

Volchek and Todd Have Been Depicted As Always Being A Few Steps ATHE of the Task Force. While that is the repetitive felt. Countdown‘s new episode shows that the team has learned from the volchek investigation, Leading to Jensen Ackles’ Meachum Realizing Todd was Playing. Most of the Characters have Now Been Fleshed Out, Which Helps.

Countdown’s Latest Death Raises The Investigation’s Stakes

The first half of the episode centers on todd’s new kill, as Countdown‘S Villain shoots the governor’s press secretory in the head. Once Again, The Show Depicts How Prolific a Sniper the Killer is, which Makes Things Incredibly Harder for the Task Force. There is a fun, yet somewhat stupid, bit with the gas station clerk that was amusig.

Still, The Death is No Laughing Matter, As it COULD EVENTUALLY Lead to the Governor and Eve Potus Himself Being Murder. The stakes continue to be high for Countdownwhich is fantastic, as I feared the show was not be able to recreate the Same Tension from Volchek’s Storyline. Todd’s Latest Kill Leads the Task Force Directly to Him.

Before getting into their meeting, there’s the scene between meachum and blythe that Worth discussing. Eric dane has done a solid jab this season as the task force Older mentor. I find it interesting that despite blythe’s lack of energy and more contined Demeanor, I Can Still Feel a Warmth Coming From Dane’s Character, Making Him A Trustted Leader.

To that end, seeing blythe talc to meachum about how he should have Bigger dreams becase he is a natural leader was heartwarming. The Will-The-Won’t-The BetWeen Meachum and Olivelas Continues, As Ackles’ Character Asks Her Out for a Beer, where he plans to discuss the case (sura), but Says She is Tooed. Season 2 it is for that Relationship, of Fear.

The Task Force is not Safe Going ino The Season Final

IT SEEED UNLICELY THAT Countdown Episode 12 Waled have a set of piece that topped the shock of the Press Secretary’s Death Early in the Episode, but the sequence in the bar was easily the most thriling part of the hour. It touches on something that I have really enjoyed in the show: The Fear for the Task Force’s Safety.

Given How Volchek was always a few steps ahead of the team, we never know what would happy to say. The Villain HAD HIS EYES ON THE TASK FORCE’S MEMBERS, Particularly Meachum. Now, Countdown reveals that todd is following in his footsteps.

The other moment came shaperd arrived home to find the apartment in the dark and no signs of her sister. I was Bracing MySelf, Waiting for Her to Discover Molly Had Passed Out or Worsse, but was happy to see just listening to music in her room, and we got a Heartwarming moment between the sisters.

The Fear for the Well-Being of the Task Force’s Members Will Continue in A Major Way in the Countdown Season 1 final. AFTER ALL, TODD MANAGED TO SNAP Photos of Bell and Olivelas at the Bar, while Also Seeing Meachum and Presumably Finau as they Chased after Him. Nor meachum notes, he wan the team to go to the bar.
