Cabinet expansion in Karnataka to Bihar election: Congress MLC Salim Ahmed

Bengaluru, October 11 (IANS). Congressman and MLC Salim Ahmed said on Saturday that the party was considering a cabinet reformed in Karnataka following the upcoming election in the Bihar meeting. He rejected the Deputy Chief Minister and President of the State Congress, DK Shivkumar’s statement in which he named the talk of the expansion of the Cabinet in the state as a rumor. The MLC congress said with reporters in Haveri: “Some ministers can be dropped out of the cabinet to focus on strengthening the party organization, while the ministerial beds are given to new party leaders, it may be considered.” He further said that both Congress High Command and Chief Minister SiddaramaAh are considering a cabinet, but the final decision will be made by the party’s high order. He said: “When the congressional government was founded in Karnataka in 2023, I should have been included in the state cabinet, but my name was dropped at the last moment. I worked for the party organization in the state for the past 43 years. I am confident that I will have a chance in the coming cabinet.” Meanwhile, Karnataka Minister of Food KH, in response to MuniyApa’s statement, that he would give up his post if his daughter became a minister in the state, Muniyappa’s daughter and Mla Roopkala M said: ‘I have to get the mail only when I qualify. I don’t want a post given to me. He said in the KGF-based Betamangala village in the Karar district: “If I am qualified at government level, I need to get a ministerial post.
